How does HAUSE support film-led publications?

HAUSE connects poster-first films, shared playback, chapters and timed transcripts to source citations and machine-readable records. CHRISHAYUK contributed these capabilities and recorded evidence tools. hause.design subsequently donated media plates, native choices, outcome matrices, decision trails, grouped graph neighbourhoods, finite sequence playback and inventory comparison. Editorial art direction, assets and research data remain with each site.

THE PAGE THAT NEEDED IT

CHRISHAYUK brought a different pressure to HAUSE: a film-and-photography publication whose records also contain technical work. Its player, shared motion, source navigation and citation controls now travel with the library. Its cinematic grading, photographic rhythm and homepage direction remain its own.

large language models. So, I'm going to connect it up to the weights of the Gemma 34B model. Believe me, I will connect it up to Gemma 4, but that will be a future video. So, I've now connected up here and you can kind of see there that that model has got 34 layers or 348,000 features. And in fact, if I just run stats against the model there, there you see Google Gemma 3, you see the number of features, and then as you can see

MOTIONPROVIDER

One dominant visible media source owns playback. Local films and system studies can join through useMotion. Reduced motion, data saving, global pause, page visibility and dialog suspension are respected. Full films require explicit activation.

YOUTUBEFILM

An external film begins with its poster and loads the privacy-enhanced YouTube player only after a reader presses play. A publication can supply its own preview composition. Full playback resets on suspension and requires another play action on return.

FILMCHAPTERS AND TIMEDTRANSCRIPT

Chapters and transcript passages carry source timestamps. The site supplies seeking, original-source URLs and caption provenance. Transcript text is server-rendered inside a native disclosure; automatic captions must be identified as unreviewed.

CITATIONEXPORT

The same HAUSE citation record produces Plain, APA, BibTeX, CSL-JSON and head metadata. Film and image kinds, literal corporate authors and unknown publication dates are supported. A retrieval date never substitutes for first publication. CitationExport adds downloads, copy feedback and a no-JS disclosure.

PUBLICATION METADATA

HAUSE derives canonical, social, citation and VideoObject metadata from the record supplied by the site. The local screening page, original source, producer and participants are distinct. Meaningful summaries must also be rendered as text. Metadata is not a guarantee of search indexing or AI-engine inclusion.

AUTHORED ENVIRONMENTS

ModeToggle and modeScript share an authored light or dark default. Stored choice is applied before paint. Reading surfaces can change while cinematic scenes retain their own palette; storage failure preserves the default.

EVIDENCETABLE

A native table carries recorded observations, explicit units and precision, baseline rows and source links. Missing measurements and inapplicable cells remain distinct from zero. All cells are available without JavaScript; the publication supplies the data and interpretation.

MEASUREMENTTRACE

Recorded series share ordered stages, explicit scales, optional baselines, annotated spans and caution bands. Readers select a stage or play the sequence through MotionProvider. Playback advances between recorded samples without inventing intermediate values; all observations remain in a native table. Missing samples are gaps.

SHARE

A publication supplies the proposition and canonical URL. Share offers reader-initiated LinkedIn and X composers plus a native Copy disclosure. Clipboard failure leaves selectable text. No provider SDK, automatic posting or subscriber store is added; social cards and editorial post drafts belong to the consuming publication.

VISUALPLATE

A reusable exhibition plate holds a consumer-supplied media renderer, its reading and a required credit. hause.design donated the component; its generated concept imagery remains site-owned and is explicitly distinguished from documentary evidence. Responsive delivery and alt text belong to the consumer.

EXHIBITIONCHOICES AND BEFOREAFTER

Native radio choices switch between authored presentations without JavaScript. BeforeAfter supplies two readings; a collection can offer more. All content is server-rendered. The consumer owns meaning, media lifecycle and the unique control identifier. These are composition capabilities, not new semantic forms.

OUTCOMEMATRIX

One mark represents one recorded case. Counts come from the supplied exact decisions; solid and slashed marks distinguish success and failure without colour alone. A native disclosure holds the complete selection table. Scope and source are required; the component generates no results.

DECISIONTRAIL

A publication supplies ordered choice steps, the current selection, real navigation URLs and a rendered result. DecisionTrail stages the journey without client state or hidden routing rules. hause.design uses it to select all 37 forms through the published grammar; the component itself makes no recommendation and adds no semantic form.

GRAPHNEIGHBOURHOOD

One focused record sits between incoming and outgoing relationships. Every edge retains its direction and recorded basis; links move the focus or open the work and source. The helper rejects duplicate IDs, missing endpoints and duplicate relations while preserving parallel relations of different kinds. hause.design contributed the portable view; graph facts and routes remain publication-owned.

SEQUENCEPLAYER

Reader-started, finite playback of consumer-supplied frames. The server renders the final frame and a complete text score; readers can select static frames or play once. Playback stops offscreen, when the page is hidden or reduced motion is selected. The consumer owns the visuals and any intra-frame CSS motion. It is standalone composition, not a new semantic form or a media coordinator.

RECORDDIFFERENCE

Compare two supplied inventories by identity, rejecting duplicate IDs and returning missing and unexpected names. Equal counts do not imply equal records. hause.design donated this helper for its deliberately damaged-copy drift experiment; inputs, sources and interpretation remain with the publication.

CODEX AND NOTEBOOKEDITION

NotebookTemplate binds an authored entry into selectable HTML folios, with an index, direct reading and authored history. FolioObject and Marginalia place objects and qualifications on a responsive spread. Page motion respects the shared coordinator and reduced motion; static, no-JavaScript and print editions retain all content. EditorialPlate composes selected imagery at wide, inset or portrait scale, with explicit captions. Manuscript supplies the distinct full-length reading edition, with chapter headings and continuous prose. NotebookNote places explanatory drawings beside prose; NotebookFilm mounts an existing player with its source and timestamp. Drawings and playback remain owned by the publication. NotebookStage gives instruments full-width plates or quieter reading layouts. NotebookPlate attaches identity and scope to an object. NotebookSpecimens and NotebookSpecimen provide native inspectable contact sheets; their units and source passages belong to the author. NotebookClosing gives a finding and its limits equal space. The publication supplies real evidence and revision history.

FIGUREMOTION

A recorded figure reveals once, with replay managed by MotionProvider. Values never count up or interpolate; the complete geometry is readable without JavaScript or with reduced motion. The publication supplies the evidence and visual composition.

ANCHOREDDISCLOSURE

A native details section opens when a fragment link names content inside it. Summary, content and classes are supplied by the publication. Reading remains possible without JavaScript.

PUBLICATION LEGIBILITY

Framework-neutral checks preserve the authored headline while providing a literal search projection. A deliberate editorial opt-out requires a reason. The readable abstract, authorship and publication date remain explicit obligations.

REVISION CONTINUITY

Checks distinguish initial releases from clarifications, interpretation changes and corrections. A revision retains first publication, names its predecessor and advances its version. The host preserves and verifies its own source artifacts.

Render the same factual summary as ordinary text. Indexing is a deliberate site policy; the helpers default to noindex. Omit unknown dates. A participant credit does not make someone the film's producer.

CONTROLS SUPPORT THE ACT

These additions extend film and publication behaviour. They do not add semantic forms; tables and playback are publication capabilities. The original Film, Citation and Provenance forms remain available; the shared playback coordinator is opt-in.

WHAT THIS DOES NOT ESTABLISH

A metadata builder cannot guarantee Google indexing, a video rich result or inclusion in an AI answer. Public pages must be crawlable, sources reachable and summaries meaningful without watching the film. Caption coverage and review status remain explicit. Full YouTube playback resets when suspended.
