ON RESTRAINT
HAUSE has one scroll behaviour, one easing curve, and three speeds. Everything cinematic on top of that is staging, not machinery — which is why nothing here needed an animation library.

Every interactive form must carry an always-present text fallback.
Every instrument does. The point survives with the interaction removed — for reduced motion, for no-JS, for crawlers, and for anyone who just wants the sentence.

Forms with a recorded chapter behind them
21 of 35 name the chapter they came from, and every one of those was a page that could not be built without the form. ExpertField and Comparison came from the codex; Variants, Refusal, the ladders and all 8 performances from the vindex3 exhibition; Terminal from its Explorer; Lens, Citation and Provenance from publishing a specification.
Forms with recorded evidence added to fill a taxonomy gap
Zero of those recorded. The three modes were named after the forms existed, not before — the split was noticed in the vindex3 build rather than designed up front.
How the 14 forms without a recorded origin were admitted
Unresolved. They predate origin recording, so the manifest can neither show they came from real pages nor show they did not — and an unrecorded origin is left absent rather than reconstructed. The evidence stops where the record stops.

When does a form deserve promotion from a site into HAUSE?
The working answer: when its props no longer know whose content they carry. A form enters the library the day its example copy could be swapped without touching the component.

What makes a form semantic?
Its name describes the act it performs. Claim asserts something that can be tested; Evidence presents the support; Refusal states a limit. The interface makes those distinctions visible before the reader has to infer them from the prose.
